Energetic Events, Inc. dba PowerStack (“PowerStack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of people who visit www.gopowerstack.com and related webpages (the “Site”), register or request to register for our events, subscribe to our communications, contact us, or otherwise interact with PowerStack (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy explains the types of personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how long we retain it, the choices and rights available to you, and how to contact us. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

How to Contact Us

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact:

Energetic Events, Inc. dba PowerStack

Email: hello@gopowerstack.com

You may also submit a privacy question or rights request through our Contact form. Please identify your request as a privacy matter and do not include sensitive documents in your initial message.

1. Personal Information We Collect

We may collect personal information directly from you, automatically when you use the Site, and from third parties where appropriate.

Information you provide

Contact and professional information, such as your name, work email, company, job title, job function, country or region, telephone number and professional profile information.

Event information, such as registration or attendance requests, event preferences, participation details and information needed to administer an event.

Communications and inquiries you send through our contact forms, email or other channels.

Marketing preferences, including whether you have opted in to receive PowerStack updates.

Our website contact form collects first and last name, work email, company, job function, job title and your message. Newsletter signup collects first name and work email. We record your subscription choice and, for inquiries and attendance requests, your acknowledgment of how we use your information to handle your request. Each record includes the wording and its version, the form source and the time of your choice. Submitting a general inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Partner, sponsor, speaker or supplier information provided in connection with a business relationship or proposed relationship.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request times and technical logs to deliver and protect the Site. Our forms use short-lived verification challenges and an IP-derived, hashed identifier to limit repeated submissions. This security processing is separate from marketing consent.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from event partners, service providers, your employer or organization, publicly available professional sources, or other parties where permitted by law and relevant to our events, business relationships or Services.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

Respond to inquiries and requests.

Review, approve and administer event registrations and participation.

Communicate important information about events, including program, venue, schedule or policy updates.

Operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site and our Services.

Manage relationships with speakers, sponsors, partners, suppliers and participating organizations.

Send marketing communications and PowerStack updates where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law.

Understand engagement with our Site and communications and measure the effectiveness of our outreach.

Prevent fraud, misuse or security incidents and protect our rights, users and Services.

Comply with applicable law, legal process and regulatory obligations.

Establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Where applicable law requires a lawful basis for processing, we rely on consent, performance of a contract or steps requested before entering into a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and/or our legitimate business interests, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.

3. Event Participation and Attendee Information

If you participate in a PowerStack event, certain professional information may be used to administer the event and facilitate participation. Depending on the event and the tools used, information such as your name, title, company and professional profile may be visible to other approved participants.

If an event uses a third-party registration, event or networking platform, that provider may process information in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy in addition to our instructions.

Nest attendance requests are submitted through our Contact form. PowerStack uses the information you submit to review your request, respond to you and administer the event. A PowerStack pavilion within a partner conference may also require separate registration with that conference organizer. Review the privacy notice shown by each provider before submitting information.

4. Marketing Communications

If you sign up for PowerStack updates or otherwise consent to receive marketing communications, we may use your name, work email, company and communication preferences to send relevant information about upcoming gatherings, speakers, programs and opportunities to participate.

Our contact form, which also handles attendance requests, asks you to acknowledge how we use your information to handle the request. This acknowledgment is separate from the optional, unchecked marketing choice. Newsletter signup requires affirmative consent to marketing emails. You can contact us or request event information without choosing to receive marketing.

You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending transactional or service communications that are necessary for an event or other relationship with you.

5. Cookies, Analytics and Similar Technologies

The current PowerStack website does not install advertising pixels or optional analytics trackers. Hosting, access-control and security services may use essential cookies or similar technologies to provide the Site and protect forms. Third-party registration sites have their own cookie practices.

During a password-protected preview, we use an essential access cookie to remember that your browser has been approved for up to eight hours. The server stores a hash of the random session token and its expiry time. Signing out revokes that session. We also limit login attempts using short-lived IP-derived security records. This access cookie is not used for advertising.

Before introducing optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking, we will update this notice and provide any notice, consent or opt-out controls required by applicable law. Browser controls may let you block cookies, although blocking essential technologies can affect access or functionality.

6. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information:

To service providers that help us operate the Site, manage registrations, host data, send communications, provide analytics, process forms, support events or perform other services on our behalf.

To event partners, venues, sponsors or other participants where necessary to administer an event or where you have consented to the disclosure.

To professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants and consultants.

To government authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or security.

In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets or similar corporate transaction.

With your direction or consent.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own purposes except as described in this Privacy Policy, as disclosed to you at the point of collection, or with your consent.

7. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide the Services, maintain business and event records, comply with legal, accounting or reporting obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. We may retain anonymized or aggregated information that no longer identifies you.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Sites and Services

The Site may link to websites, registration tools or other services operated by third parties, including event partners. PowerStack is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy notices before providing personal information.

10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; or to opt out of certain uses of personal information. You may also have the right to appeal a decision regarding a privacy request or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise a privacy right, use our Contact form or the contact details above. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

11. United States State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state law. These may include rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of personal information and, where applicable, to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or certain profiling.

PowerStack will honor applicable rights and required appeal processes. If our data practices change in a way that triggers additional state-specific disclosures or opt-out mechanisms, we will update this Policy accordingly.

12. International Visitors

PowerStack is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

13. UK and EEA Residents

If UK or European Economic Area data protection law applies to you, you may have rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, objection to direct marketing, withdrawal of consent and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object where applicable.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
